Subject: Do you use AI tools in research and academia? – Survey for those working on language in society
AI technologies are playing an increasingly larger role in our lives
and research is not an exception to that. As critical sociolinguists
working on the role of technology in society, we have developed a
survey as we are interested to know more about what researchers who
work on language and society think about AI technologies and how they
are using them in their research and wider academic lives. We would
like to kick off a debate on the opportunities and issues that such
technologies offer. Please also consider participating in the survey
if you currently do NOT use AI technologies. Your views are important
too.
We want to hear from as many people as possible to obtain a
representative view, please forward it to colleagues. The survey will
take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can access the survey
here:
https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/FW27T97
The survey will be open until September 7th 2025.
We are very grateful for your time!
