Subject: Parsed Corpus of Medieval Venetian [first version]


The Franco-German project MICLE (Micro-cues of language evolution: A
Multifactorial model of V2 loss in Central Romance,
ANR-20-FRAL-0001-01 / DFG-449439301), led by Pierre Larrivée and
Cecilia Poletto between 2021 and 2024, is happy to announce the
availability of another corpus. The open access, syntactically
annotated set of Medieval Venetian legal texts is accessible in two
locations: on searchable interface
https://txm-crisco.huma-num.fr/txm/, where it joins the Medieval
French comparable corpus, with an explanation of search facilities and
codes in English and French; and at
https://git.unicaen.fr/mathieu.goux/micle-public, where all the files’
versions are freely downloadable (XML-TEI, CONLLU, POS & PSD). The
corpus is in a test phase, where three texts are available. More texts
will be added after the end of the test phase. Requests for further
information on corpus use and feedback on possible improvements are
most welcome and can be sent at "Francesco Pinzin"
