Description:
Side are in need of remote freelance native-speaking formally trained
linguists who are able to do orthographic transcription and other
speech linguistic tasks in the following languages:
 - Japanese (Kansai dialect)
 - Romanian
 - Ukrainian
 - Mandarin (China)

Successful candidates will be part of a team processing large amounts
of linguistic data and carrying out a number of tasks to improve the
quality of our client’s text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis for these
languages.
Responsibilities include quality-checking audio with orthographic
transcription, text-audio alignment and linguistic annotation.
Linguistics Requirements:
University-level coursework in general linguistics and experience in
orthographic transcription in your native language (ja-JP / ro-RO /
uk-UA / cmn-CN).
BA/BS in Linguistics preferred.
We are also still in need of linguists for:
 - German
 - Korean
