Subject: LAGBPSC Applying to PhDs workshop series


This autumn the LAGB Postgraduate Student Committee is holding a
series of workshops on applying to PhDs in the UK - if this is
something that interests you come along for all the insider tips and
tricks! We are kicking off the series on the 7th of August with "So
you think you want to do a PhD" where we talk about the early stages
of the application process when/where/how to apply.
7th August So you think you want to do a PhD
11th September Writing your research proposal
9th October Making your application stand out
6th November Applying for funding
8th January Preparing for interview
5th February Weighing your options
Each session will run at 1630 - 1730 UK time on Teams. The joining
link will be made available on our website
(https://www.lagbpsc.co.uk/events/applying-for-phds) shortly before
the start time.
