As a sequel to the successful International Workshop on the Syntax of
Predication and Modification 2024, the HUN-REN Hungarian Research
Centre for Linguistics will host the 2nd International Workshop on the
Syntax of Predication and Modification (IWSPM2025) in Budapest,
Hungary, on 1–2 September 2025. IWSPM2025 will be an in-person-only
event. Like its predecessor, this workshop seeks to foster fruitful
dialogue between researchers through syntactic analyses of
construction types involving predication and modification, from a wide
range of languages and analytical perspectives.
