The Slovene Association of LSP Teachers (SDUTSJ) is happy to announce
its fourth international conference dedicated to languages for
specific purposes which will be held from 14 to 16 May, 2026 in Terme
Čatež thermal resort (Čatež ob Savi, Slovenia). Through the
presentation of research findings, knowledge, experience, and examples
of good practice in the field of LSP, the conference will offer a
unique platform for vibrant and productive exchange of perspectives
among LSP scholars across Europe and beyond. At the same time, it will
present an opportunity for reunion and for the establishment of new
international professional and research partnerships and collaboration
in the field of foreign languages for specific purposes.
Since one of the conference’s goals is to strengthen collaboration
with existing partners and establish new connections within the
broader international LSP research and teaching community, the 2026
conference will also feature AELFE (the European Association of
Languages for Specific Purposes) as an honoured guest association.
