Syntax

Registration is now open for the International Workshop on the
Acquisition of (Syntactic) Complexity at the Interface, which will
take place on March 26-27, 2025, in the Erasmushuis in Leuven. This
workshop brings together researchers from various theoretical and
methodological backgrounds, working on the acquisition of
syntactically complex constructions that involve the interaction with
other linguistic domains, such as prosody, discourse (Information
structure, IS), and/or semantics. The program is now available and
includes talks on both L1 and L2 acquisition, as well as sessions on
methodology and complexity measures.
Keynote speakers: Ianthi Tsimpli (University of Cambridge) & Benedikt
Szmrecsanyi (KU Leuven)
Invited speakers: Carla Soares-Jesel (Université Paris-Cité) &
Katerina Palasis (Université Côte d'Azur)
