Focus: PhD and advanced MA students specializing in experimental
linguistics and/or language acquisition
Description:
EMLaR aims at training PhD students and advanced MA students in
experimental methods of language (acquisition) research. Experts in
various domains of linguistic research will give lectures and hands-on
tutorials that can be followed both in-person and online. We also
provide the opportunity to present your (ongoing) research at the
poster session.
Speakers will give method-oriented talks during plenary sessions. We
also offer hands-on tutorials on Praat, R, Eye-tracking, JASP,
Bayesian Statistics and many other research methods.
This year's keynote speaker is Prof. Sonja Kotz (Neuropsychology and
Translational Cognitive Neuroscience, Maastricht University)

Tuition: 60€ / 120€
Tuition Explanation: Fee to join the keynote, invited talks, and
hands-on tutorial sessions over the course of three days:
- Regular participant - online (60 euros)
- Regular participant - in person (120 euros including dinner)
- Member of LOT and/or ILS (no fee)
