The Graduate Association of Germanic Language Students (GAGLS) at UT
Austin is pleased to announce the Graduate Conference in Germanic
Studies (2026). This year's conference theme, Connections — Between
Languages, Spaces, and Cultures, invites participants to explore
intersections of languages and cultures within the context of Germanic
Studies. Organized by the GAGLS, the GCGS provides an inclusive
platform for scholars at all stages of their academic careers to share
their research, exchange ideas, and network with fellow academics. The
conference is designed to create a supportive environment for graduate
students to participate in a peer conference. The GCGS will start
accepting abstracts from November 11, 2025.
