The proposed internship will take place in the context of the final
stages of the project led by ATILF (CNRS & Université de Lorraine),
that aim to create online learning resources for learners and teachers
of legal English, specifically for reading comprehension of American
judicial decisions.
Goal of the internship:
The contribution of the intern will be twofold:
- Create tutorials and resources for an online Moodle platform and a
tool created (by a private company) for teachers of legal English;
- Liaise with teachers of legal English and encourage them to
contribute to the Moodle platform to build a safe, online community of
teachers.
Tasks:
- Collaborate with the ANR team designing the Lexhnology tool and
Moodle platform for the teachers;
- Create tutorials on how to use the tool and the platform;
- Work on a space for teachers to share resources and plans on case
law;
- Create a community of practice;
- Encourage teachers to consider teaching case law in ELP classes;
- Contribute to writing up the results as a co-authored academic
paper (optional).
