We invite submissions for 50-minute presentations, 20-minute
presentations, and poster presentations.
We are particularly interested in presentations that explore:
- Innovative classroom linguistic techniques that promote active
participation and collaboration
- Linguistic strategies for engaging students both inside and outside
the classroom
- Methods for fostering meaningful student–teacher and
student–student interaction
- Practical applications of linguistics, technology, games, or other
tools that enhance engagement
Our plenary speaker, Dr. James York, Associate Professor at Meiji
University, Japan, will share insights from his work on games and play
in education and learning, particularly his concept of S.P.A.C.E.
(Safety, Participation, Agency, Critical, Experiences) as a framework
for fostering student agency, creativity, and meaningful engagement.
Conference registration will be available after Call for Abstracts has
passed also at the link above.
