Following the tremendous success of TELIC 2024, where we welcomed
hundreds of participants from around the globe, we are thrilled to
announce the Call for Proposals for TELIC 2025! This year’s conference
will once again be an international, open-access, and fully virtual
event, hosted by the University of Texas Permian Basin on Microsoft
Teams. As technology becomes increasingly embedded in education, TELIC
2025 invites participants to look beyond tools and platforms to
examine the human-centered innovations that truly shape language
learning. How do emerging technologies support learners’ diverse
needs, empower teachers, and foster ethical, inclusive, and
sustainable practices in global contexts? We look forward to proposals
that explore not only the latest advancements but also the human
stories, challenges, and opportunities behind them. Scope of the
Conference The conference embraces a broad understanding of
technology’s role in language education—from traditional classroom
supports to cutting-edge innovations in AI, VR/AR, and beyond. TELIC
2025 encourages submissions that examine how technology can be used
responsibly and creatively to advance language learning, teaching, and
