Subject: LAGB Student Event Sponsorship – Applications open until Nov. 15th
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for LAGB
sponsorship for student events.
Who can apply: Students organising linguistics conferences, workshops,
or other academic events for fellow students, in the UK.
Deadline: 15/11/2025

The LAGB invites applications for funding to support linguistics
events by students, for students. Please note that this funding is
intended for event organisers, not for individuals wishing to attend
conferences.
The event’s lead organiser must be a student, and applications should
include a supporting statement from a member of staff at the host
institution.
Funding available:
~ Up to £300 for events hosted by a single institution.
~ Up to £450 for events involving multiple institutions.
~ Please note that competition is often high, and smaller awards may
be offered.
