After earlier installments in Paris (2022), Tours (2024) and Lille
(2025), we are happy to announce that the fourth workshop ‘Des Langues
Pas Si Mortes’ (DELPASIMO 4) will take place at the Côte d’Azur
University (Nice, France) on March 13-14, 2026. The event is hosted by
the lab ‘Bases, Corpus, Langage’ (BCL, UMR 7320).
The workshop series DELPASIMO is devoted to the formal grammar of
historical languages, primarily from a synchronic (rather than
diachronic) perspective. The conference is open for work on phonology,
morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
The following speakers have confirmed their attendance:
 - Nora Boneh (Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
 - David Embick (UPenn)
 - Laura Grestenberger (University of Vienna)
We now invite abstract submissions for DELPASIMO 4. Oral presentations
will be 30 minutes long, followed by 10 minutes of discussion.
Abstracts should be anonymous and no longer than two A4 pages,
including references and examples, in 12-point Times New Roman, with
margins of at least 2,5 cm / 1 inch. Submissions are limited to a
maximum of one individual and one joint abstract per author.

Abstracts are to be submitted in pdf-format to the following address:
delpasimo.nice at gmail.com.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is December 15, 2025.
Notification of acceptance: January 15, 2026.

Fur any further inquiries, the organizers can be contacted at
delpasimo.nice at gmail.com.
Further information about DELPASIMO 4 will be posted in due time at
the conference website:
