We are happy to share details about an upcoming symposium that may be
of interest. The theme of this inaugural event is "Culture in Language
Education: Interpersonal and Intellectual Developments," and it will
take place online on July, 10, 2026, and in person on July 11, 2026 in
Cincinnati, Ohio. We are currently seeking session proposals that
engage with this theme and hope that you might consider sharing your
experiences and expertise. All languages of instruction are welcome.
Below, I have provided some important dates and links to additional
information. With the proposal submission deadline quickly
approaching, if you are interested in presenting but need more time to
write a proposal, feel free to email me by October 1st with a request
for additional time.* As this is a completely new event, we are trying
our best to get the word out, so any sharing with your networks would
be greatly appreciated.
October 1, 2025: Proposals are due
October 31, 2025: Authors will be notified of decisions on or before
this date
November 1, 2025: Registration will open
