The 35th annual conference of the European Second Language Association
(EuroSLA 35) will take place from June 24–27, 2026, in Lisbon,
Portugal, hosted by the Research Center for Linguistics (CLUNL) at
NOVA University Lisbon, one of Portugal’s leading institutions in the
language sciences.
EuroSLA 35 brings together researchers working on second, foreign, and
additional language acquisition, bilingualism, and multilingualism.
The conference will feature keynote talks, individual papers, posters,
a doctoral workshop, a round table, and social events.

We invite proposals for the following types of contributions:

discussion)
Submissions are welcome in all areas of second, foreign, or additional
language acquisition, as well as bilingualism and multilingualism. We
encourage proposals that advance theoretical, empirical,
