Subject: Introducing NOVA Ling: A New Academic Journal


NOVA Ling is the official journal of the Research Centre for
Linguistics at NOVA University Lisbon (CLUNL). It is dedicated to
publishing studies in all areas of linguistics.
The journal welcomes articles from every subfield of linguistics,
grounded in diverse theoretical frameworks, that present innovative
research.
Authors are invited to consult the About the Journal section and the
Author Guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.
The journal is published biannually, and only research articles are
accepted.
Types of issues:
- One general issue per year: articles are published on a
continuous-flow basis, meaning each article is released as soon as its
review process is complete.
- One or more special issues per year: thematic issues proposed by
guest editors, which may, in some cases, include articles based on
presentations at CLUNL conferences.
Publication languages: Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish.
We are committed to meeting international indexing standards and
strongly encourage authors to submit their scientific contributions.
