We are pleased to present you with information about The EFL Journal
(ISSN 0976-660X), published by the English and Foreign Languages

researchers, academics, and practitioners to share knowledge in the
form of high-quality empirical and theoretical research papers in the
fields of language, linguistics, and literature worldwide.
The EFL Journal (EFLJ) (ISSN 0976-660X) is a blind peer-reviewed
international journal, published biannually. The Special Issues in
Linguistics feature theoretical and empirical research articles in
core areas of linguistics as well as in psycholinguistics,
computational linguistics, sociolinguistics, and interdisciplinary
linguistic studies.
Due to COVID-19 and many other attendant reasons, the special issues
on Linguistics were not published. We are now publishing the
previously unpublished back issues. We are currently accepting
submissions for the following special issue in Linguistics:

Details of Volume 12.2
Back Date: June 2021 (Note that the references and studies can still
be current.)
Theme: Special Issue on “Theoretical Linguistics”
Guest Editors: Prof. M Hariprasad, Prof. Roopa Suzana and Dr. Anish
Koshy
This Special Issue on theoretical linguistics aims to showcase
original and innovative research that advances our understanding of
the fundamental structure and nature of language. We invite
contributions from all subfields of theoretical linguistics, including
but not limited to:
 - Syntax
 - Semantics
 - Phonology
 - Phonetics
 - Morphology
 - Pragmatics (with a theoretical focus)
 - Language typology and universals
 - Formal approaches to linguistic theory
 - Cross-linguistic and comparative studies with theoretical
implications
 - Computational modelling of theoretical constructs
We particularly welcome papers that propose novel theoretical
frameworks, offer significant refinements to existing models, or
provide insightful empirical data that challenge or support
theoretical claims.
