ALPHA (Anatolian Linguistics, Philology, History and Archaeology)
seminar is an academic lecture initiative organized within the
ERC-funded project CAncAn – Communication in Ancient Anatolia (PI
Annick Payne, ERC Grant Agreement No. 101088363).
Each seminar brings together scholars working across linguistics,
philology, history, and archaeology to address questions concerning
language, writing, and cultural interaction in the ancient Anatolian
world.
By placing these disciplines in dialogue, ALPHA reflects the
interdisciplinary nature of the CAncAn team and its commitment to
understanding communication across the ancient societies of Anatolia.
For information on upcoming events, please visit the CAncAn project
webpage (https://pric.unive.it/projects/cancan/home#c17758).
