Subject: Participants Needed: Native English-Speaking Learners of Russian and Russian Heritage Speakers

I am a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Kansas
conducting research on sentence interpretation in Russian second
language learners and in Russian heritage speakers. I am currently
seeking participants for a study that involves a judgment task asking
participants to decide if sentences are appropriate or not.
Russian instructors teaching upper-division courses are warmly
encouraged to share this information with their students.
We are recruiting two different groups of participants:
1. English native speakers (ages 18–65) who are studying Russian at a
high-intermediate or advanced level
2. Russian-English bilingual heritage speakers (ages 18–65) who grew
up speaking Russian at home, spent a significant portion of their
childhood in an English-speaking country, and are currently studying
to learn, relearn, or improve their Russian proficiency
The study takes approximately 60 minutes to complete online.
Participants whose data meet inclusion criteria will receive $15
compensation via an Amazon gift card.
If you are interested, please contact me at margot.cobat at ku.edu, and I
will send you the study link and additional information. Please
briefly describe your language background when you request the link.
Thank you very much for your support!
