The International Training School is designed to provide students,

with advanced training in innovative methodologies applied to the
study of texts. The term 'text' is defined here in its broadest sense,
encompassing inscriptions on a wide range of materials as well as late
medieval and humanistic manuscripts.
The programme places method at its core, conceived as a mediating
framework between technological innovation and the materiality of the
text. The lectures will offer a critical overview of the most recent
digital technologies applied to textual studies, highlighting their
potential, limitations, and interpretative implications in fields such
as epigraphy, philology, palaeography, and historical linguistics.
