The Escuela Nacional de Lenguas, Lingüística y Traducción of the
Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México is pleased to announce the
upcoming 2nd Experimental Linguistics Meeting.
The meeting will take place on November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2026 in a
hybrid format (virtual and in-person). The purpose of the Experimental
Linguistics Meeting is to bring together researchers and students
interested in the analysis of linguistic phenomena from experimental
approaches, with the aim of fostering academic dialogue and
theoretical and methodological reflection on different aspects of
language.
The academic community is cordially invited to submit proposals
exploring linguistic phenomena at various levels of analysis—such as
phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and interface
studies, among others —and whose data have been obtained from either
offline or online experimental tasks. Research may explore any
language of study, but submissions focusing particularly on
underrepresented languages ​​are encouraged.
Participation modalities:
 - Oral presentation (paper), either in person or online
 - Duration: 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions
 - Abstract submission languages: Spanish and English
 - Maximum of two co-authors per presentation. Each participant may
submit one abstract as sole author and one as co-author, or up to two
as co-author
 - Deadline for abstract submission: June 5, 2026
