The annual Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it)
reaches its 12th edition this year and will be hosted, for the first
time, in Palermo, Italy. Over the years, CLiC-it has become a central
meeting point for the Italian research community in Computational
Linguistics (CL) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The conference will present current research and methodological
advances in automatic language processing, covering both written and
spoken language. It brings together researchers from a range of
disciplines, including Computational Linguistics and NLP, Linguistics,
Cognitive Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Knowledge
Representation, Information Retrieval, and Digital Humanities. CLiC-it
encourages interdisciplinary exchange and reflects the complexity of
language-related research.
Submissions on all languages are welcome, with particular attention to
work focusing on Italian. CLiC-it 2026 will take place in Palermo from
September 14th to 16th, 2026, and is supported by the Italian
Association of Computational Linguistics (AILC): https://www.ai-lc.it/
We invite researchers and practitioners to take part in CLiC-it 2026
and contribute to discussions on current and future directions in
Computational Linguistics and NLP.
