The Department of Tenyidie, the Department of Linguistics and the
Centre for Naga Tribal Language Studies, Nagaland University, are
delighted to announce that the 59th International Conference on
Sino-Tibetan Languages and Linguistics (ICSTLL-59) will be held from
14-16 December 2026 at Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema,
Nagaland, India. We invite the submission of abstracts on any aspect
of Sino-Tibetan languages and linguistics, including, but not limited
to, the following areas:
1. Descriptive Studies
2. Comparative and Typological Studies
3. Language Contact
4. Language Policies
5. Sociolinguistics
6. Morphology and Syntax
7. Semantics and Pragmatics
8. Phonetics and Phonology
9. Endangerment of Minority Languages
10. Historical Linguistics and Philology
11. Computational Linguistics
13. Language Acquisition
12. Corpus and Quantitative Linguistic Studies
14. Linguistics of Tribal and Indigenous Languages of Sino-Tibetan
family
Presentations will be of 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5
minutes for discussion).
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
1. Abstracts must be written in English.
2. Abstracts should be anonymous PDF and not include any identifying
information (name of the author/s, affiliation and address).
3. Length: 1 page excluding tables and references.
4. Format: Times New Roman, font size 12, single space.
5. One person may submit a maximum of two abstracts with one as sole
author and one as joint author.
