cities across Albania.
Description:
The Department of Linguistics of University of Tirana (Albania) is
pleased to inform all interested parties that the summer school
“Albanian Language Course for Foreigners” will be held from September
1–30, 2026.
This intensive course is designed for students and researchers at
proficiency levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. The program includes:
- Language classes structured by proficiency level;
- Lectures on Albanian history, geography, and culture;
- Socio-cultural activities such as museum visits and trips to various
cities across Albania.
Participation is available in the following formats:
1. Through bilateral state agreements – applicants may apply at the
Albanian Embassy in their respective countries. The embassy forwards
the list of selected participants to the Ministry for Europe and
Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education.
2. Through bilateral inter-university agreements – applications are
made via partner universities.
3. Self-funded participation – students and researchers may attend the
course by paying a fee of $500. This fee does not cover accommodation
or meals.
The course will be held in person, at the Faculty of History and
Philology, University of Tirana.
