We are pleased to announce the program for the 38th Comparative
Germanic Syntax Workshop, to be held on September 24-25, 2026, at the
University of Potsdam. The program can be accessed via the workshop
website at the following link:

The Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop is a theoretically-oriented
forum for dealing with all aspects of comparative Germanic syntax,
from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives. This year's program
also includes a thematically-oriented session on using experimental
methods to investigate issues in formal Germanic syntax. We are
pleased to welcome Imke Driemel (University of York) and Gert-Jan
Schoenmakers (University of Utrecht) as invited speakers to this
year's installation of the workshop.
Registration to attend CGSW 38 is free of charge. All interested in
attending the workshop are requested to complete the brief
registration form available on our website. We look forward to
welcoming you to Potsdam in September!
