The editors of Didacticae. Journal of Research in Specific Didactics
are inviting proposals for the monographic section for publication in
December 2027 and July 2028. We welcome proposals that focus on
current thinking and developments in the field of specific/applied
didactics, including areas of expertise like
 - Language and Literature
 - Interdisciplinary proposals (in terms of research methods, or
curricular experiences and research) are also welcome. These could
include, but are not limited to:
   - Active methodologies
   - Creativity
   - Motivation, engagement and flow
   - Neuroeducation
   - Gamification
   - Hybrid or online teaching and learning
   - Feedback and assessment
Interested applicants should prepare a proposal setting out:
1.      The title and aim of the monographic section, explaining in
detail how this section focuses on an important and current issue in
specific/applied didactics, and how the monographic section may
promote research and new perspectives on the topic.
2.      Details of the potential papers to be included: title and
abstract, author and affiliation. If you cannot provide a list of
potential papers yet, please provide a list of questions that the
special issue will address. (Note: Didacticae accepts different types
of submissions including research articles, history and epistemology
including systematic reviews, innovation and experiences.) Mind the
CfP of the monographic section is open to everyone.
3.      A detailed timeline for completion, including initial
submission date, and due dates for review and revision, with an
ultimate publication date of December, 2027 or July, 2028.
4.      A 100-word bio of each of the proposed coordinator(s).
The proposal should not be longer than two pages, excluding the
editor's bio paragraph(s), abstracts of potential papers, and
references.
Please prepare an open Call for Papers (up to 2 pages) as well and
submit it as a separate document.
