We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming International Forum on
International Forum of Trans-migrant Education in Asia (IFTEA), which
will take place from March 26th to 27th, 2027 at National Kaohsiung
Normal University in Taiwan.
This conference is highly relevant to linguists because it foregrounds
language support, immigrant language education, multilingualism,
cultural adaptation, and the role of language in educational equity
and social integration. It offers linguists an interdisciplinary
platform to contribute insights into language learning, language
policy, linguistic diversity, and the experiences of multilingual and
migrant communities in Asia, particularly in the context of emerging
AI technologies.
The 1st International Forum of Trans-migrant Education in Asia aims to
build an international dialogue platform that integrates academic
research, educational practice, and policy exchange, responding to the
increasingly diverse and complex phenomena of trans-migrant education
in Asia. The forum focuses on cross-border mobility, cultural
adaptation, language support, educational transition, and social
integration, bringing together scholars, educators, and policy makers
from Taiwan and abroad.
In response to the trends of global population mobility and deepening
regional connectivity, this forum aims to facilitate knowledge
integration and experience sharing through transnational comparison
and transdisciplinary collaboration. By doing so, it seeks to further
promote more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable educational
policies and support mechanisms, opening up new horizons for the
future development of cross-migrant education in Asia.
The Committee of International Forum of Trans-migrant Education in
Asia 2027 invites scholars, researchers, postgraduate students and
