The Editorial Board of IJMSLP is pleased to invite submissions for its
upcoming issue, Volume 8, Issue 01, scheduled for publication in June
2026.
Invitation to Contribute:
The International Journal of Multilingualism and Languages for
Specific Purposes (IJMLSP) cordially invites scholars, researchers,
and practitioners to submit original and unpublished manuscripts for
Volume 08, Issue 01, scheduled for publication in June 2026.
The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical contributions,
research reports, case studies, and scholarly book reviews that
advance knowledge in the fields of multilingualism and Languages for
Specific Purposes (LSP).
About the Journal:
Edited by the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed, IJMLSP is a
biannual, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal with no
submission or publication fees.
It serves as an international forum for interdisciplinary research
addressing contemporary issues in:
 - Multilingualism
 - Language policy
 - Applied linguistics
 - Specialized language education
The journal is published in print and online formats, with the
electronic version freely accessible and downloadable.
Focus and Thematic Orientation:
IJMLSP adopts a broad and inclusive perspective on multilingualism and
Languages for Specific Purposes. It particularly encourages
contributions exploring the intersections between multilingual
practices and specialized language use, including but not limited to:
 - English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
 - Arabic for Specific Purposes
 - Chinese for Specific Purposes
 - Other languages for specific and professional domains
Indicative Themes and Topics:
Submissions may address (but are not limited to) the following areas:
 - Linguistic diversity, linguistic insecurity, and identity
 - Language planning, language management, and policy implementation
 - Critical discourse and ethnographic approaches to language policy
 - Discourse practices in language policy and governance
 - Language competencies, employability, mobility, and visibility
 - Pragmatics and interaction in language and culture teaching
 - Instructional materials: evaluation, adaptation, and design
 - Corpus linguistics and data-driven approaches to LSP
 - Discourse, intertextuality, and genre analysis
 - Language assessment in LSP contexts and classroom practices
