Subject: Call for Participants from Germany, USA, Ireland, and England: A Cross-Cultural Study of English Communication in Short Interactions
I am looking for participants from England, Ireland, Germany, and the
United States for a cross-cultural study of English communication in
short face-to-face interactions. My name is Hannah Grzonka, and I'm a
student at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn,
Germany.
This study is conducted as part of a master's thesis in the field of
Applied Linguistics. The questionnaire is made up of three parts: 1)
About you, 2) the main task, made up of four discourse completion
tasks (DCTs), and 3) concluding questions. It should not take longer
than 15 minutes to complete.
I would be very grateful for your participation and if you could share
it within your networks. The survey will remain open until February
28, 2026. Survey link:

If you have any questions about the research or data collection
process, please contact me via mail.
Best regards,
Hannah Grzonka
