Minimum Education Level: Open to all interested in learning Persian.
Special Qualifications: Minimum requirement: completion of secondary
education.
The program is open to beginners and advanced learners. Intermediate
and advanced participants are placed according to a pre-course
placement assessment.

Focus: Intensive Persian language instruction (CEFR A1–C2),
communicative competence, spoken Persian, grammar, academic Persian,
Persian culture and literature, immersion-based learning.
Description:
The 5th Persian (Farsi) Summer School at the University of Belgrade is
an intensive, university-based Persian language program offered within
the European higher education framework. Designed for international
students, researchers, and professionals from the United States, the
United Kingdom, and across Europe, the program provides structured,
small-group instruction in Persian within a recognized academic
setting.
As one of the few university-organized Persian summer programs in
Europe, it combines systematic language training with communicative
practice and cultural engagement. Open to all proficiency levels
(A1-C2), the program awards an official certificate of completion
issued by the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.
The curriculum emphasizes communicative competence, structured grammar
development, and active spoken Persian, while introducing key aspects
of Persian culture and literature. Courses are taught by native
Persian-speaking faculty members, with Persian as the primary medium
of instruction and English used when necessary for clarification.
Tuition: EUR 1350 (3 weeks)
Tuition Explanation: Tuition fees depend on the selected program
duration, EUR 1350 (3 weeks- 90 hours) EUR 1700 (4 weeks -120 hours)
and EUR 2500 (6 weeks -180 hours). The fee covers 30 contact hours per
week, placement testing, continuous assessment, final evaluation,
course materials, workshops (Persian calligraphy and Persian
mythology), one educational excursion, closing dinner, and certificate
of participation. Accommodation and travel costs are not included.

Summer School website. . Intermediate and advanced applicants will
complete a placement assessment. Optional online preparatory classes
are available prior to the program and are charged separately.
Participants are advised to apply at least 20 days before the start of
the course if requesting student-rate accommodation.
