As the conference dates approach, we are pleased to share some
important updates regarding the 6th International UCM Predoctoral
Conference on English Linguistics (UPCEL 2026), which will take place
on January 21, 22, and 23, 2026, at the Faculty of Philology,
Complutense University of Madrid (Spain).
We are honoured to confirm our keynote speakers and their
presentations:
- Dr. Patricia Bou-Franch (University of Valencia): Medical
gaslighting and epistemic activism in Instagram
- Dr. Francisco Lorenzo (Pablo de Olavide University): Bilingualism
and social inequality: notes on linguistic capital
