The workshop brings together researchers working on the syntactic and
interpretative properties of exclamatives—particularly those that
involve complementizers—as well as scholars investigating epistemic
modal adverbs, expressive particles, and other elements contributing
to exclamative meaning across languages. The event is part of the
research project The syntactic and interpretative properties of
certain modality expressions in Basque (Spanish Ministry of Science
and Innovation).
