Subject: Racconta - Narrative Competences and Literacy Development Between Internal Variation and Plurilingualism


The concluding workshop of the PRIN 2022 project "Racconta - Narrative
competences and literacy development between internal variation and
plurilingualism" will take place at the University of Bologna,
Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies, on January 30,
2026.
The project involved the Universities of Bologna and Turin and
investigated the maturation of narrative competences as part of
literacy development during the secondary school years, focusing on
strategies of cohesion and coherence and on register variation and
multilingual repertoires.
The day will feature presentations by Martin Klotz (Humboldt
University Berlin), Arianna Bienati (University of Modena and Reggio
Emilia), Cecilia Andorno, Claudia Canuto (University of Turin), Silvia
Ballarè, Caterina Mauri, Chiara Gianollo, and Nicola Perugini
(University of Bologna).
The meeting will be held in person only. Participation is free and
registration is not required. The program and further information on
