We are pleased to announce that the 5th edition of the Workshop on
Linguistic Theories and the Teaching of L2/L3/Ln to take place on
February 6th 2026.
This year’s edition focuses on curricular documents and their
relationship with linguistic theories and language pedagogy, and will
bring together researchers and practitioners to reflect on the role of
curricular documents in language teaching. The workshop will present
experiences in the design of curricular frameworks for adult
additional language education and explore their relationship with
research in language acquisition and language pedagogy.
Invited speakers are Xavier Abelló (Consorci per a la Normalització
Lingüística), Pierre-Luc Paquet (Université de Montréal), and Álvaro
García Santa-Cecilia (Instituto Cervantes), with a roundtable
moderated by Lourdes Miquel (Escola Oficial d'Idiomes,
Barcelona-Drassanes). Participation is free of charge, but
registration is required.
