2nd Call for Papers:
32nd Lavender Languages and Linguistics Conference (LavLang32),The
University of Edinburgh, 2-4 September 2026.
We are happy to announce that the Call for Papers for Lavender
Languages and Linguistics 32 is now open! The conference will be held
at the University of Edinburgh from Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th
September 2026 and is organised around the theme of ‘Queer
(Dis)Belonging’ (description on our website). We are delighted to host
the following keynote speakers:
 - Dr. Nikki Lane (Duke University)
 - Dr. Kevin Guyan (the University of Edinburgh, School of Business)
 - Prof. Erez Levon (Universität Bern)
 - Dr. Stamatina Katsiveli (The American College of Greece)
 - Dr. Eddie Ungless (the University of Edinburgh, School of
Informatics)
We invite papers on language, gender, queerness, and sexuality from
multiple theoretical perspectives. Abstracts can be submitted as
either: i) a standard paper presentation (20 minutes), ii) a lightning
talk presentation (10 minutes), or iii) a project launch presentation
(10 minutes).
