Our conference is a global online gathering of educators,
instructional designers, learning innovators, researchers, and
industry leaders dedicated to shaping the future of learning. LXD has
emerged as a powerful bridge between learning design and educational
technology, combining pedagogical expertise with technological
innovation to create engaging, learnercentred experiences. This
conference provides a unique platform for sharing cutting-edge
practices, innovative approaches, and emerging trends in LXD across
diverse educational and professional contexts.
This conference may be of interest to language educators who need to
design their lessons and courses and want to get deeper insight into
1) how to use technologies and AI in the process of lesson planning,
and
2) how to make the learning process more attracting to every learner
from the pedagogical and technological perspectives.
The conference programme includes keynote presentations, interactive
workshops, panel discussions, session meetings and networking
opportunities. We invite contributions from the following fields:
1) Learning Experience Design Foundations;
2) Learning Sciences and Pedagogy;
3) EdTech and Digital Innovation;
4) AI and the Future of Learning;
5) User Experience and Interface Design for Learning;
6) Workplace Learning and Professional Development;
7) Inclusion, Equity, and Accessibility.
Participation:
Conference language is English.
To participate in the conference, please fill in a registration form
on our website https://ld-initiatives.ch/en/conferences/ by March 05,
2027.
The confirmation of conference participation will be sent within two
weeks from the submission date but not later than March 12, 2027.
Conference fee: 100 CHF.
For participation in the conference both speakers and listeners will
be awarded with ECTS credits (1 ECTS credit for speakers and 0,5 ECTS
credits for listeners), which will be stated in the certificate of
attendance.
Certificates of attendance will be issued to all participants,
including speakers and attendees, contingent upon their physical
presence at the conference.
Requirements for Speakers:
Agenda: plenary speeches – 30 minutes, section speeches – 15 minutes;
discussion time – 10 minutes.
Publication of Abstracts:
All conference participants may submit abstracts for publication.
Abstracts will be published in the e-Book of Abstracts containing ISBN
and DOI numbers. The language of publication is English. The deadline
for abstracts submission is March 05, 2027. Abstracts must be
downloaded in the the registration form on our website:
https://ld-initiatives.ch/en/conferences/.
The abstract must contain 250-300 words, excluding references.
The abstract must be preceded by the name(s) of the author(s),
including their title(s), affiliation, and country (all in the
abovementioned order).
The title of the abstract must be in bold, all capitals, centered.
References, if applicable (presented in the end of the abstract), and
in-text citations must conform to the APA Style.
All submitted abstracts will be subjected to the double-blind peer
review process. The editorial board reserves the right to decline
papers that contain plagiarized content or do not conform to the norms
and subject matter of the conference.
