Online Event on Experimental Linguistics
Hosted by Dr. Anastasia Gerasimova and Prof. Ekaterina Lyutikova
The program features three keynote talks and a Showcase Session for
early-career researchers.
Invited Speakers:
Jennifer Culbertson (University of Edinburgh)
Ellen Lau (University of Maryland)
Jana Willer-Gold (University of Oxford)
Call for Showcase Presentations:
In addition to the keynote lectures, the program will feature a
special showcase session dedicated to early-career researchers
(graduate students, PhD candidates, and postdocs).
We invite abstract submissions for 5-minute presentations on any topic
related to experimental linguistics and the interface between
linguistic theory and experimental methods. This is an excellent
opportunity to present work in progress, pilot results, or a concise
summary of a recent study in a dynamic format.
Please note: the presentation slot is 5 minutes in total, including
Q&A and discussion. We encourage presenters to prepare a single slide.
To allow attendees to explore the work in more detail, and to
facilitate further discussion and collaborations, we recommend
preparing a more detailed handout to share. A template will be
provided to accepted participants.
Abstracts: DOC(X), anonymous, no longer than 1 page (A4 or Letter),
including examples and references.
Language: English.
Registration:
Both presenters and attendees register via the same form.
