Le Laboratoire de NeuroPsychoLinguistique (LNPL, UR 4156) et le
Département des Sciences du Langage de l’Université Toulouse 2 – Jean
Jaurès vous invitent à la journée d’étude intitulée « Bilinguismes
harmonieux : évaluer le bien-être langagier dans différentes
situations de vie », qui se tiendra le 9 juin 2026 en format hybride.
Cette journée réunira des chercheur·euses autour des liens entre
bi-/multi-/plurilinguisme et bien-être langagier. L’événement vise à
favoriser le dialogue entre les approches théoriques, empiriques et
méthodologiques, tout en tenant compte de la diversité des contextes,
des publics concernés et des situations de vie.
La matinée sera ouverte à un large public et accessible sur
inscription.
Programme de la matinée :
9h45 : Début de la journée
10h : Conférence invitée, intitulée "Harmonious Bilingual Experience:
Why Reading in Both Languages Matters for Children's Social-Emotional
Wellbeing", présentée par He Sun (National Institute of Education,
Nanyang Technological University)
11h15-12h45 : Table ronde « Comment penser, décrire, étudier, évaluer
des expériences bi-, multi- ou plurilingues plus ou moins harmonieuses
dans différentes situations de vie ? », animée par Ekaterina Tiulkova,
avec la participation de Layana Awada, Mireille Copin, Nour Ezzedine,
Camille Humeau, Barbara Köpke, Marie Leroy, Vanda Marijanović, Myrian
Suarez-Arrouy.
L’après-midi prendra la forme d’un temps de travail en format
restreint entre chercheur·euses invité·es. Les chercheur·euses
intéressé·es par ces questionnements et souhaitant contribuer à cette
réflexion collective peuvent contacter les organisatrices en
présentant brièvement leur intérêt pour la thématique et les
perspectives qu’ils ou elles souhaiteraient y apporter.
La journée adoptera elle aussi un format bilingue : la conférence
invitée se tiendra en anglais, tandis que les échanges de la journée
se dérouleront en français.
L’événement aura lieu dans la salle E411 de la Maison de la Recherche
de l’Université Toulouse 2 – Jean Jaurès. Le lien pour la

The Laboratory of NeuroPsychoLinguistics (LNPL, UR 4156) and the
Department of Language Sciences at Université Toulouse 2 – Jean Jaurès

Life Contexts”, which will take place on 9 June 2026 in a hybrid
format.
This study day will bring together researchers working on the links
between bi-/multi-/plurilingualism and language-related well-being.
The event aims to foster dialogue between theoretical, empirical and
methodological approaches, while taking into account the diversity of
contexts, populations and life situations concerned.
The morning session will be open to a broad audience and accessible
upon registration.
Morning programme:
9:45 a.m.: Opening of the study day
10:00 a.m.: Invited keynote talk“Harmonious Bilingual Experience: Why
Reading in Both Languages Matters for Children’s Social-Emotional
Wellbeing”, presented by Dr. He Sun (National Institute of Education,
Nanyang Technological University)
11:15 a.m.–12:45 p.m.: Round table, “How can we conceptualise,
describe, study and assess more or less harmonious bi-, multi- or
plurilingual experiences in different life contexts?”, chaired by
Ekaterina Tiulkova, with the participation of Layana Awada, Mireille
Copin, Nour Ezzedine, Camille Humeau, Barbara Köpke, Marie Leroy,
Vanda Marijanović and Myrian Suarez-Arrouy.
The afternoon will be a restricted working session with invited
researchers. Researchers interested in these questions and wishing to
contribute to this collective reflection are welcome to contact the
organisers, briefly presenting their interest in the topic and the
perspectives they would like to bring to the discussion.
The study day will itself adopt a bilingual format: the invited talk
will be given in English, while the discussions throughout the day
will take place in French.
The event will take place in room E411, Maison de la Recherche,
Université Toulouse 2 – Jean Jaurès. The link for online participation
