Subject: The 6th Adam Kilgarriff Prize: Applications Open


Applications are invited for the sixth Adam Kilgarriff Prize, which
recognises excellence in corpus linguistics, computational linguistics
/ language technologies, and lexicography.
The Prize is intended for young researchers in these fields.
Applicants must be no more than 40 years of age in the year of
application. The Prize is awarded for outstanding achievements in the
form of publications, linguistic data or software, an industrial
product or service, or any combination of these.
The deadline for applications is 30 September 2026. The winner will be
announced on or before 31 December 2026, and the Prize will be
presented at eLex 2027.
The winner will receive EUR 2500 and perpetual Sketch Engine access.
The winner may also be offered the opportunity to give a lecture or
demo session at eLex 2027.
