Subject: First and Second Language Learner's Understanding and Production of Online Sarcasm
Can you spot sarcasm on Twitter/X?
We're looking for native English speakers to take part in a University
of Bristol research study on how people understand sarcasm online.
What's involved?
- Complete 3 online questionnaires
- Read tweets and tell us whether you think they're sarcastic, what
they mean, and how easy they are to understand
- That's it — everything is done online, in your own time
You'll receive a £10 Amazon voucher for completing all three
questionnaires.
Who can take part?
British native English speakers
Aged 18+
No Dyslexia
This study is funded by the British Academy and led by researchers at
the University of Bristol.
