Subject: A Study about the Comprehension of Idioms

This study was created by Michelle Scholtes, a student of the seminar
"LING 301 Semantics" at Trier University, under the supervision of
linguistics lecturer Dr. Bettina Kraft.
The goal of this survey is to investigate how idioms are perceived,
focusing on the distinction between idioms and nonidioms.
You can refuse to take part in the experiment without giving a reason,
and can stop participating at any time. If you agree to participate,
you will be asked to provide some personal information, such as your
age, education, and linguistic background, in order to analyze the
data accordingly.
Each data file will be assigned an anonymous ID, and your name will
not be linked to the data files.
The information obtained from the survey will be analyzed for the
research project, and it will take you about 15-20 minutes to complete
this questionnaire.
