Description:
Council for Diversity and Innovation, in collaboration with Unreal
Tece LLP, is pleased to announce W2M-204: Field Methods for Speech
Technologies (Multilingual), an intensive one-week immersion course
bridging the gap between linguistic fieldwork and AI development. This
program offers participants a unique opportunity to work directly with
local communities in West Bengal to create high-quality speech
datasets and train Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models for Sadri
and Kurux.
Dates: June 18 – 23, 2026
Venue: Prism-NB (Uttaran), Madarihat, Alipurduar, West Bengal
Focus: Multilingual Speech Technologies (Sadri & Kurux)
