The 6th International Symposium on Corpora (PACOR 2027), which will
take place at the University of Córdoba from 25 to 27 January 2027.
Organised by the research group LinguaCor (HUM-1144), PACOR is a
biannual international conference dedicated to corpus research.
Under the theme “Re-thinking Evidence: Corpus Linguistics in a
Changing Language Landscape”, PACOR 2027 invites contributions that
examine how linguistic evidence is being reshaped by digital
communication, multilingual realities, methodological innovation and
advances in language technologies. The conference particularly
welcomes research that critically reflects on how corpus data is
constructed, interpreted and applied in increasingly AI-mediated
environments.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following
thematic areas:
 - Re-conceptualising Linguistic Evidence in the Digital and AI Era
 - Corpus Methodologies and Technological Innovation
 - Parallel Corpora, Multilingual Evidence and AI-mediated
Communication
 - Language Change, Variation and Digital Genres
 - Corpus Evidence in Applied Contexts and Education
 - Ethics, Bias and Responsible Corpus Research
Submissions are invited for oral presentations, posters, and software
demonstrations.
A selection of contributions presented at PACOR 2027 will be invited
for publication in special issues or monographs in the following
journals: Hikma: Revista de Traducción, Alfinge: Revista de Filología,
and Transletters: International Journal of Translation and
Interpreting.
