The Diversity in Linguistics Talk Day is a one-day online event that
brings together linguists from diverse social and linguistic
backgrounds to present their work across all areas of linguistics.
Contributions from all subfields and theoretical perspectives are
welcome.
The event will take place on 11 August 2026 and will be held via Zoom.
Talks will be grouped thematically, with regular breaks, and we will
make every effort to accommodate different time zones. Participation
is free of charge, both for presenters and attendees.
We explicitly encourage submissions from linguists at all career
stages, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral
researchers, postdoctoral researchers, professors, and colleagues
working outside academia.
