We are pleased to share the Call for Papers for the 4th International
Congress on Translation and Interpreting (CITEI 2026), organized by
the Colegio de Traductores del Perú, which will take place in Lima,
Peru, on 13–14 November 2026.
Under the theme "The Transformation of Specialized Translators and
Interpreters in the Face of 21st-Century Challenges", CITEI 2026 will
bring together researchers, educators, trainers and professionals to
discuss current and future challenges in specialized translation and
interpreting, particularly in relation to artificial intelligence,
automation, professional practice, ethics, training and emerging
technologies.
We welcome paper proposals related to, among other areas:
 - Specialized translation and interpreting
 - AI, language technologies and workflow processes
 - Ethics, professional conduct and social responsibility
 - Translator and interpreter training
 - Professional markets, innovation and identity
Conference languages: Spanish and English.

Internacional de Traducción e Interpretación (CITEI 2026), organizado
por el Colegio de Traductores del Perú, que se celebrará en Lima,
Perú, los días 13 y 14 de noviembre de 2026.
Bajo el lema "La transformación de los traductores e intérpretes
especializados frente a los desafíos del siglo XXI", CITEI 2026
reunirá a investigadores, docentes, formadores y profesionales para
reflexionar sobre los retos actuales y futuros de la traducción y la
interpretación especializadas, especialmente en relación con la
inteligencia artificial, la automatización, la práctica profesional,
la ética, la formación y las tecnologías emergentes.
Se aceptan propuestas relacionadas, entre otros, con los siguientes
ámbitos:
 - Traducción e interpretación especializadas
 - Inteligencia artificial, tecnologías lingüísticas y flujos de
trabajo
 - Ética, deontología y responsabilidad social
 - Formación de traductores e intérpretes
 - Mercado profesional, innovación e identidad profesional
