International Journal of Multilingualism and Languages for Specific
Purposes (IJMLSP)
Guest Editor Proposal Invitation
The IJMLSP invites experienced scholars to submit proposals for
guest-edited special issues addressing cutting-edge developments in
Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP), ESP, and multilingual
professional communication.
We particularly encourage proposals that integrate digital
transformation, AI-driven language practices, and discipline-specific
discourse across multilingual contexts.
Priority Research Themes:
 - AI-driven ESP/LSP pedagogy and intelligent language learning
systems
 - Digital discourse and communication in professional and academic
domains
 - Multilingual practices in specialized fields (Arabic–English and
global contexts)
 - Corpus-based and data-driven approaches to LSP and ESP
 - Genre analysis and professional communication in emerging
industries
 - Intercultural competence in globalized workplaces
 - Translation and terminology management in specialized domains
 - Language policy, digital literacy, and multilingual education
 - Multimodal communication in scientific, technical, and business
contexts
I - nnovations in ESP curriculum design and assessment
Proposal Guidelines:
 - Clear title and thematic focus
 - 500–800 word rationale
 - Potential contributors (optional)
 - Guest editor bios (100–150 words)
 - Proposed timeline
 - Guest Editor Responsibilities
 - Develop and circulate call for papers
 - Coordinate peer-review process
 - Ensure academic quality and coherence
 - Write editorial introduction
