An international Scholarly Conference ─ Actual Problems of
Kartvelology ─ XVI,  Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Birth of
the Meritorious Kartvelologist, Professor  Revaz Sherozia  will be
held on February 2, 2027, organised by the Tariel Putkaradze
International Society of Kartvelology, Akaki Tsereteli State
University, Kartvelology Centre at St. Andrew the First-Called
Georgian University of  Patriarchate , Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State
University and Duzce University.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is August 31, 2026. The
conference will be held in a hybrid format (in person and  remotely,
on the Zoom platform). The working languages ​​of the conference are
Georgian and English.
Conference covers (but is not limited to) the following topics:
 - Kartvelian linguistic world
 - Folklore, literary studies
 - Dialectology and field linguistics
 - Issues of teaching Georgian as a state language
 - Challenges of teaching heritage ​​and second languages
 - History of Georgia, ethnography, archaeology, anthropology
 - Art, culture, philosophy
 - Computational and corpus linguistics
 - Interdisciplinary researches
