Description:
The Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies (LMS) at Nanyang
Technological University (NTU), Singapore, invites applications for
faculty appointments at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor

We welcome applications from established scholars in any field of
linguistics with an outstanding research record. We particularly
welcome candidates whose research will strengthen and advance LMS’s
distinctive focus on multilingualism in the Asia-Pacific region,

outstanding candidates working across a broad range of geographical

LMS offers a vibrant and interdisciplinary environment for the study

also internationally recognised for its work on multilingualism,
language diversity, language contact and change, and the interfaces
between language, society, cognition, and technology.
LMS is part of the School of Humanities (SoH), within NTU Singapore’s
College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS), where
students and scholars collaborate across fields from philosophy to
design to understand how people in Asia and beyond act in, shape, and
make sense of a technological world. CoHASS aims to be Asia’s leading
centre for innovative, interdisciplinary research and education in the
Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.
