In conjunction with the launch of the Springer book, Analysing Forced
Migration: A Discourse-informed Approach, this online workshop on
presents short guided lessons on Discourse Studies Approaches drawn
from the book with examples from forced migration-related datasets.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by the book authors: Dr. Charity
Lee (Universiti Malaya), Dr. Chen Yating (Huaqiao University) and Dr.
Kumaran Rajandran (Universiti Sains Malaysia).
Workshop Topics:
- Analysing Multimodal Texts
- Analysing Corpora
- Analysing Stories
All postgraduate students and researchers are welcome!
